Pokhara was a nice change of pace compared to Kathmandu. The atmosphere here is MUCH more relaxed and your not hassled nearly as much by the locals. I spent about 5 days here after my trek arranging my kayaking trip and relaxing. I probably could have fit in a trip to Chitwan National Park, but I didn't want to rush things. Because I was here for so long and I would only be in Kathmandu for 1 day before I flew out, I did almost all of my shopping here.

This is pretty typical in Pokhara. Tibetians selling their wares everywhere. This guys name was JoJo and I bought a cross necklace from him that was made out of yak bone, at least that's what he said it was made out of...

Street vendors selling some sort of food, I don't know what. Only the locals buy from these guys and what ever it is they are selling looks pretty darn gross.

Cows are holy animals in Nepal and just roam free and do whatever they want. This is not a cow but a buffalo and I don't know why but they seem to enjoy some of the same privileges as cows, as seen here...

This is perhaps the best picture that captures Pokhara. Relaxation. This is Isabell, Valerie's traveling buddy. The three of us were having breakfast at our favorite restaurant, Once Upon a Time. They easily have the best pizza in town and we certainly got our share. They also have Mango Slice, which not many of the other restaurants had. Mmmmmm...
